Ποιά είναι η γνώμη σου;

Designers are a crucial part of branding and visual communication. It’s no coincidence that many of the world’s most renowned branding agencies were founded by designers. While branding has evolved over the years, the role of the designer remains essential, and that journey begins in design school.

But how are designers being taught today?
What skills should they be cultivating?
How can they find the school that fits their needs and values?
What is the right balance between handcraft and digital craft?
And what is the true role of an educator in this shifting landscape?

These are some of the questions we explore in this episode with Lefteris Heretakis, a design educator with years of experience teaching in London and around the world.

Lefteris is a passionate advocate for design thinking and education. He also hosts the podcast Design Education Talks, which I highly recommend you check out. In our conversation, he shares his perspective on what design education is today and what it needs to become.

P.S. As we talk about design schools, I share a small personal confession from my own student days.
